…and I’m Back!
August 11, 2010“There are six billion people in the world. Even if your market is hand-made spoke shaves for left-handed woodworkers, there are more people in your market than you can ever hope to track down. There are lots of good reasons to abandon a project. Having a little competition is not one of them. Even if it’s Google you’re up against.” – Seth Godin
I’m back — I cleaned my room, and my bathroom, did all of my laundry, switched out my candles, went through my stack of paperwork. I broke out the planner, paid my bills, planned my races for fall, and bought season tickets to the symphony. I’ve cooked dinners and breakfasts, all vegetarian and mostly vegan. I rode a bike 5 miles on a blustery day and laughed like a 5 year old zooming down hills, I played Jenga and Scattergories, I went to power yoga, and I drank a bottle of red wine.
Seems like a list of all very day-in and day-out things — but these are the things I loved. I do love — but I lost for a little while there. I dropped the ball, got caught up in the sunny, languid days of summer and just “rolled with the tide”. No doubt the rain, the moon shining at night and the fact that I can see my breath are helping me to be motivated — fall is my favorite season, and one I just feel SO at peace in.
Annnnyway — its time for a picture post!
